![]() ![]() The Protexis Licensing service (PSIservice) appears on computers that have installed recent Corel products or product updates. I found a link to disable it and Corel runs fine. I obviously asked myself, 'WTF?' It turns out it is a third party service installed by Corel! Those idiots allow a spyware type app to check on DRM. I noticed a warning on my Win7 machine about updating the Protexis Licensing service. Every time I close the program I get a pop-up with either. Note Corel has chosen Protexis to insure that the software is properly registered. ![]()
